Tesla Opens New Factory In The Netherlands

With so much news around the Tesla Model X, you’d think all the news about Tesla was spy shots and changes to the design studio. But a big piece of news that we didn’t want to skip was the opening of Tesla’s new factory in the Netherlands, in the city of Tilburg.

This is actually Tesla’s second factory in Tilburg. Thew new plant will employ 180 people, and plenty of robot companions (but I’m not sure of the exact number). Take a look at some pics of the new plant from Tesla, via Twitter:

The new plant now allows Tesla to complete assembly of 450 Teslas a week in Tilburg, up from 225.
