Hiroyuki Toume, Managing Executive Officer, Machinery Company, ITOCHU Corporation, I am confident that five or ten years from now, the world will see the next generation of mobility, flying cars, penetrate society and use the sky as an easy means of transportation.
After all, it is the popularization of the sky. The ENEOS Group will work primarily to develop infrastructure and energy supply systems for flying cars and drones, aiming to create new and sustainable mobility services.
Mr. Naoki Shibata, Managing Executive Officer, Technology Division, Obayashi Corporation, sees changes in the business environment as an opportunity for growth and is aiming for growth that is not bound by the existing business by hitting the stage for the future.
SkyDrive’s air mobility has been evaluated as a solution that has the potential to save labor and improve efficiency in construction sites, and we have been able to invest this time. By strengthening our relationship with SkyDrive and integrating our experience, know-how, and technology, we hope to improve the productivity of construction sites and contribute jointly to the expansion of new businesses and the creation of attractive regions in the next-generation mobility fields, which are essential for super and smart cities that are expected to grow in the future.

SkyDrive, as a bencher company of E-A-Mobility from Japan, has decided to invest in this investment in the hope of further accelerating the practical application of flying cars, feeling a strong future to the passionate feelings of its members, including President Fukuzawa, who are leading more than other companies in aircraft development, etc. Nec has been supporting SkyDrive’s proposals and technical verification for approximately two years since it signed a sponsorship agreement with CARTIVATOR in 2018. Going forward, SkyDrive will continue to work with SkyDrive on joint proposals and technical collaborations, including improving the social acceptability of flying cars, in order to realize a new air travel environment.
Mr. Yoshiyuki Niibori,
President and CEO of VeriServ Co., Ltd., I am excited to think that the future of flying cars will soon come and go. I sympathized with SkyDrive’s dream and ambition to “make it an era where everyone can fly in the sky,” and this time I invested in it. We will continue to do our best to support you through our experience in obtaining “type certification” in the aerospace field and our technical support in the field of software quality verification, which we have accumulated over 35 years.
The Company is deeply involved in air mobility, including the 5th largest aircraft leasing company in the world and the joint venture with the world’s third largest helicopter leasing company, and is also focusing on next-generation air mobility. In addition, supporting the spread of electric, environmentally friendly, and flying cars is in line with the SDGs management promoted by our company. We would like to create a mechanism that allows more people to easily use empty means of transportation together with SkyDrive.
Comment by Takahiro Fukuzawa,
Ceo of SkyDrive Co., Ltd. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and being able to complete this funding. SkyDrive will continue to accelerate the technological development and business development of “flying cars” and “cargo drones” in order to create a safe, secure and comfortable drone and air mobility society. In order to put flying cars into practical use in fiscal 2023, we will raise the level of prototypes to aircraft-level development management, enhance the completeness of aircraft, and at the same time work with partner companies to promote service design, in-flight maintenance, etc. In cargo drones, we will first build aircraft and operations that can contribute to solving customer problems as a labor force in mountainous areas, and from 2022 onward, we will work hard to create safe and secure aircraft and their services so that they can be widely used for logistics in urban areas.
