Update: I’ve added a couple of videos featuring these LEGO constructions underneath the pictures. Thanks to John Hanlon for the tip.
It’s quite a bit of work following all of the post on the Tesla Motors Club forum — there are a lot, and the large majority are not very useful for me, but there are also plenty of gems. I’d categorize this one as a gem: two Tesla and LEGO fans created a life-sized LEGO Tesla Supercharger and giant Tesla logo (see the pics below, which are copyrighted by Adrian Drake and Robert Turner, respectively, but I was given permission to share).
Interestingly, the two LEGO artists are friends but created these pieces without even realizing the other one was working on a Tesla piece.
I don’t have much more to add, but there are a couple more notes about the pics underneath them. I just thought these were too cool not to share. I know Elon was more into books than LEGOs, but I imagine he’d love these as well. Check them out:
In case you were wondering how the top of the Tesla logo is hovering there, Adrian Drake (aka “brickfenzy)” writes, “The top of the T is attached with some clear bricks in two locations, about 2/3 of the way out on each bar. You can’t see them because they blend into the background.”
The “life-sized” LEGO Supercharger, as I called it, is actually 2/3 the actual size of a Supercharger, and that it Adrian’s Tesla sitting next to it in the picture.
