I’ve seen some fuss on a “top” car website (Edmunds.com — not too surprisingly) about the potential for getting your hand trapped in a Tesla Model S door handle. Tesla’s door handles, of course, close on their own, sliding their way back into the door of the car in order to cut down on wind drag, improve aerodynamics, and just look cool.
But serious, would Tesla design its door handles in a way that could actually threaten a human’s precious hands? A Tesla driver recently decided to show just how hard it is to overpower the retracting door handles. Have a watch:
