Tesla Adds Cyberwhistle & Cybertruck Socks To Its Shop

Tesla has added some fun and interesting accessories to its online store over the weekend. Granted, we just had Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, and I’m still recovering from how fast November went by. I feel like it was only yesterday that I was celebrating Halloween in the French Quarter with friends.

That aside, it’s now officially the holiday shopping season and Tesla reminded me that I needed socks. On Monday, Tesla quietly added Cybertruck-themed socks to its online store. I scored a pair of the graffiti ones to match the hoodie I bought last year.

Yesterday, Tesla added the limited edition Cyberwhistle to its shop, and although I wanted one, $50 for a whistle was too much for me. Bills, groceries, and living expenses came first. However, I’m not shaming anyone for spending $50 on a whistle — I’m the one who usually spends $50 and more (when I have it) on gems and minerals. I’ve seen some comments on Twitter that were poking fun at those who bought the whistle, but I believe we should all be able to buy things that bring us joy and there’s no shame in that.

One thing that brings me joy is my mineral collection. I see value in having neat treasures of the earth. And with that perspective, I see value in the Tesla Cyberwhistle — especially with it being a limited edition option.

Regarding the socks, I will admit that this is an upgrade from those days when I first moved to Atlanta and bought socks from the sock man on the Marta train.

Socks and whistles aside, Elon Musk has proven, once again, that he has a knack for raising fast cash. I saw an article by SpaceExplored which shared an email that Elon Musk wrote to SpaceX employees. In the article, the author pointed out that Elon Musk said:

“What it comes down to, is that we face a genuine risk of bankruptcy if we can’t achieve a Starship flight rate of at least once every two weeks next year.”

Although that small part of the article was just a piece of information, it triggered quite a few sensational headlines about SpaceX going bankrupt. My thought on this is that Elon would never let this happen. He can easily create some SpaceX-themed merch, sell it for $100 with a limited edition tag, and it will be sold out within the hour.

This is exactly what happened with the Cyberwhistle.
