Current Chevy Volt owners (year models 2011 through 2015) who don’t want to wait around for wider availability of the 2016 Chevy Volt, but still want to stick with GM/Chevy, will probably want to check out a new promotional offer from the company.
GM is offering — until only November 2nd — an additional $2500 bonus towards the purchase or leasing of a number of vehicle models under its umbrella. So, to reiterate that — owners of a 2011-2015 Chevy Volt who want or need a new vehicle, and don’t want to wait around for the 2016 model, are being given access to a $2500 bonus with the purchase or lease of a new GM vehicle.
The deal is compatible with the purchase or lease of a 2015 Chevy Volt (while supplies last) — the $2500 bonus is in addition to whatever “old inventory bonuses” may also apply. The other GM models compatible with the bonus include: the 2016 Colorado (Excludes 2SA), the 2016 Cruze Limited (Excludes 1SM), the 2016 Equinox (Excludes 1SM), the 2016 Express, the 2016 Impala, the 2016 Malibu Limited, the 2016 Silverado, the 2016 Suburban, the 2016 Tahoe, the 2016 Traverse (excludes 1SM), the 2016 Trax, the 2015 Camaro, the 2015 City Express, the 2015 Colorado (Excludes 2SA), the 2015 Cruze (Excludes 1SM), the 2015 Equinox (Excludes 1SM), the 2015 Express, the 2015 Impala, the 2015 Malibu, the 2015 Silverado, the 2015 Suburban, the 2015 Tahoe, the 2015 Traverse, and the 2015 Trax.
Not a bad deal I’d say, but given how much better the 2016 Chevy Volt looks to my eyes than the 2015 model, I’d personally wait if I was currently looking for a car.
(Tip of the hat to “Neromanceres” on the GM Volt forums for this.)
