We previously did an article on the talk that Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently gave in Paris, covering much of what was discussed. There was a particular point that we didn’t make note of that seems worth highlighting here — the company is expecting that Quarter 2 2016 Model X production will reach around 1000 units a week. It’s unclear at which point in Q2 that is expected to happen, though.
This figure isn’t much (or at all) different from what many have been expecting, but is of importance nonetheless — as it means that production is beginning to ramp up. We’ll have to wait until the Quarter 2 conference call before we know if these estimates are accurate, though.
