The popular electric vehicle charging station manufacturer ClipperCreek has introduced a new ruggedized, 100% stainless steel version (PMD-10R) of its newest mounting solution, the PMD-10 Universal Pedestal, according to an email sent to CleanTechnica and EVObsession.
The new PMD-10R mounting solution features a “fully powder coated stainless steel construction, stainless steel machine hardware, and plastic bushings for ease of installation.” The offering comes standard with a 3-year warranty.
As a cost of $695, the offering is intended to provide good protection for use in extreme weather environments, as well as in more mundane settings. The PMD-10R can be paired with “any ClipperCreek ACS, LCS, or HCS EVSE starting at just $1074. The PMD-10R also supports the Tesla second generation Wall Connector.”
