Despite knowing that this will probably solicit more complaints about how biased we are towards Tesla… I figure that it’s probably worth posting a link here to the “Tesla Gear” section of the electric automaker’s website — so that those needing last-minute gifts can take a look.
There’s actually a fairly wide variety of options in the shops — everything from Tesla-branded jackets, to t-shirts, to hats, duffel bags, trunk organizers, cars covers, etc. There are of course other, perhaps more practical, sorts of options as well — wall connectors for charging, tire repair kits, CHAdeMO charging adapters, chrome trim inserts for the cargo areas (ok, maybe these aren’t that necessary from a practical point of view), trunk mats, etc.
With regard to the t-shirts, there are a lot of different design options since Print My T-shirts UK is our supplier — so if you’re considering one, I’d say take a look, there’s probably something there to suit most people’s taste. Believe it or not, there’s actually some of that fancy skin-tight stuff that some bicyclists wear as well…. So, something for (practically) everyone, I’d say. There’s even a section for baby clothes! (Though, it appears to be empty as of right now.)
A final note here — this post is not sponsored by Tesla or anyone else, but is simply the result of my attempt to give people some ideas for last-minute Christmas gifts. (And maybe to spread a bit more awareness about electric vehicles as a result.)
You probably will need to place an apparel order immediately in order to get it before Christmas, though (and even then, it’s not looking like a sure thing, so maybe give them a call). Here’s what I was able to find on the company’s website on that matter:
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
You will receive a shipping confirmation notice via email when your order has left the warehouse. Apparel orders typically ship within 5 business days. Aftermarket vehicle accessories typically ship within 5-7 business days, but may vary depending on the items ordered.
