Today Elon Musk reached out to thank current Tesla owner for believing in Tesla, and he asked how the company could improve even further.
Wanted again to send a note of deep gratitude to Tesla owners WW for taking a chance on a new company that all experts said would fail.
So much blood, sweat & tears from the Tesla team went into creating cars that you’d truly love. I hope you do.
How can we improve further?

Sean Mahony was very quick to say “AP2 please!!” to which Elon gave a very interesting reply:
Sorry for the delay. We have the most advanced AI neural net of any consumer product by far, so it’s going through exhaustive testing. The results are blowing me away though and I think you will have a similar experience.

This is of special interest to many Model 3 reservation holders, because we wonder if it will be worth it opting for the full self-driving feature right away.
Well, if the results are blowing Elon away, I think it is a no-brainer. At least for me, having to wait another 12 months. What do you think? Is fully self-driving level 4 Teslas going to hit the roads anytime soon, in light of the above statement?
Apart from that, it is refreshing to see Elon Musk reach out directly like that and ask what Tesla could do better. This is the kind of connection you do not get from other automakers.
It was obviously also suggested that Tesla bring the pickup truck to market soon, to which Elon answered that it will come right after the Model Y.
I simply suggested to bring about a cheaper Model 2 or Model 1 for countries like Denmark with ridiculous EV taxes. Wait, there is only one single country in the world doing that. Bummer. Maybe I should move to Norway — language is pretty much the same anyway…
Nice to see Elon “touching base” with the buying public… pity no one asked for an update on the Model 3 ramp.
However, being so close to year end, I guess we can wait!
