Fisker Inc. Teases Electric EMotion Again, Render Of Vehicle’s Back This Time

While skepticism is perhaps appropriate when dealing with the electric vehicle ambitions of Henrik Fisker, considering the way that earlier ventures have gone, the EMotion vehicle teased a number of times by the recently formed Fisker Inc seems pretty interesting.

How can you not pay attention to the claim of an electric sedan with a 400-mile range? With a top speed of 161 mph? And with Mr. Fisker’s sense for visual flair?

With the skepticism in mind, though, it’s worth taking a look at Fisker Inc.’s most recent tease — a render of the planned electric sedan’s backend. This follows the recent reveal of renders showing other angles of the EMotion.

Tech Crunch provides more:

“The back of the car features ‘wide sculptural shoulders, thin light blue tail lights, wide trunk opening, and aggressive lower rear diffuser to improve aero,’ according to the company.

“Also new in this image is the shiny metallic paint job, which is a contrast from the matte appearance of the previously released renders. You can also see the back of the color contrast roof, which will likely be a full-length panorama-style sunroof, and the gadget, which looks just like the badge from the original Fisker, whose assets were purchased by a Chinese company and relaunched as Karma Automotive.”

As a reminder, Fisker Inc will reportedly be unveiling the EMotion in earnest sometime in 2017, as well as information related to the company’s general plans and timelines. Considering that the company claims to have hold of some potentially game-changing battery tech, that’ll presumably be a big part of the future unveiling.
